Railway delivery terms

CDS delivers hot food from its live counter to trains stopping at Vapi Junction and Valsad station only. There is no home delivery.

The 45 minute rule

An order must be placed at least 45 minutes before your train reaches the station. The kitchen cooks after you order and somebody then walks to the platform. Ordering closes 45 minutes before your arrival time, whatever your phone says.

If an order reaches us inside that window, we cannot serve it. It is refunded in full and we call the number on the order to let you know.

Meeting the train

Give us the train number, the arrival time at the station, your PNR, your coach and your seat or berth numbers. Our runner meets you at the coach door when the train pulls in. If your train is running late, call the counter on the number in your confirmation and we will hold the parcel.

Payment and cancellation

Payment is taken in full by Shopify at checkout. Cash on delivery is not available. An order once placed cannot be cancelled. Parcel charges are included in the station delivery line.

The food

Everything on the live board is pure vegetarian, with no onion, no garlic and no potato. If a dish sells out after you order, the counter calls you to swap or refund that line.

Hours

We can only reach trains arriving between 9:30 am and 10:00 pm. Orders may be placed for today or the next two days.
